Convergence is an expansion of the All is Connected series.
Kim’s esoteric philosophy expands in this ongoing exploration of consciousness. By embedding the ‘feelings’ of transcendental experience into art, Kim hopes to share these states of awareness with the viewer. Inspired by biomimicry, her visual language engages the organic fluidity of nature. Hand-sculpted amoebas, cells, sea creatures, and linear forms are created from clay, photographed, and then digitally crafted. Paintings are photographed, magnified, and manipulated into patterns.
The works are printed with archival ink onto the finest Hahnemuhle archival paper.
